Founded in 2012 by Dave Huffman and Holly Larrabee, Meeting Mansion LLC is an innovative & technologically well-stooped company. The focus of Meeting Mansion is to make a positive impact through the innovative application of mobile and web-based technologies. Drawing upon the diverse experiences and educational backgrounds of the co-founders, the company is poised to manipulate technology in an effort to improve the well-being of people, animals, and the environment.
Meeting Mansion’s first web-based/mobile service, WoodStak, underscores the company's focus. WoodStak is designed to stop the spread of tree pests by providing wood users with a searchable listing of nearby wood selling locations.
Holly M. Larrabee - Co-founder
Born to a farm family located in a rural upstate NY community, Holly grew up surrounded by farm animals, rolling fields, and wildlife. The country upbringing, combined with an undergraduate degree in psychology from Ithaca College and a graduate degree in Health Services Research from Texas State University at San Marcos, created a hotbed for incubating innovative ideas to help connect local sellers of goods and services with local buyers (special focus on agriculture and small business). Further fueling the creative ingenuity of the company is Holly’s oldest son, Trey, who is credited with creating the company name at the young age of 9.
Holly brings to the company the following content area expertise and experience: Mobile development (Android: Java & XML), data management (SQL & SAS), market research and statistics (SPSS, Stata, & Minitab), data mapping with geo-spatial analysis (ArcGIS), and a strong understanding of farm and rural lifestyles.
Dave E. Huffman - Co-founder
Hailing from upstate rural NY by way of suburban OH and New England, Dave's early interest in computers set the tone for a technology based educational journey. Driven by the need to "create," he began satiating that need by replicating computer programs published in the magazine "3-2-1 Contact." This early dabbling in computers led Dave to pursue an education at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where he studied Computer Science as an undergraduate and Information Technology as a graduate student.
